the best of (the second half of) 2022
Omg… hi guys. It’s been so long. Completely did not mean to drop the ball on this little blog of mine but that’s how life goes, doesn’t it? How have you been? How did the rest of 2022 treat you? Wherever you are, I hope you’re well and healthy! π
For the sake of keeping this blog post not-too-long, I’ll catch you all up on the highlights of my latter half of 2022. A lot happened, and I think I needed time to process my values, what my next steps are, where I want to take my life, etc. (i.e. the Big Life Questions). To be frank, I was doing a lot of soul-searching, as cheesy as that sounds. I didn’t know what content I wanted to put on here. But here we are, in the beginning of 2023. Seems like the right time to get back into doing things I love…
My last “life” (aka non-bookish) recap was from May, so here it goes…
SUMMER ’22.
Summer was good to me. I was somewhat busy at work, but the weather is just too good to be beat in Seattle. I love lake time whenever/however I can get it!
AUTUMN ’22.
Autumn was the season of CHANGE let me tell ya. I started taking a free political education course online and started questioning everything about my life + identity, and wondered if I wanted to stay in my job. Finished fall tax busy season and spent lots of time with family. Started applying for new jobs…
WINTER ’22.
Exciiiiting and relaxing time for the last weeks of 2022… I got a job offer and quit my current job! Still debating how much I want to share about the whole experience, so TBD. Overall lots of time with family and burning through my PTO βΊοΈ I’ve been telling my friends that I feel like I can literally see the light since quitting my job. So many good things ahead in 2023!!
That’s about it from me! I start my new job later this month, so I actually have a few weeks of ~funemployment~. It’s been funny getting familiar with the feeling of being bored again. Haven’t felt that way in a while π Anyhow, look out for a reading recap to come soon; in the meantime, I’ll be auditioning for dance showcases, taking dance classes, drawing on Procreate, and of course, doing lots of reading π₯°
Until then!
