if you like podcasts…

Hello, hi!

How was your weekend? I laid pretty low again since I actually had a pretty full social calendar during the work week. I took another SoulCycle class, spent all day Saturday reading Book Lovers (my most highly anticipated book of the year), and picking up our couch (!!). The apartment feels more and more like home every week ♥️

Today I wanted to share a very exciting event coming up next week – The Moth! If you love podcasts and/or hearing short stories, you’ll want to look into this event. One of my friend’s friend (thanks Kate!!) first introduced me to the concept of the live event and got me hooked to the podcast – usually each episode has a central theme and they invite storytellers to tell said story surrounding the theme. I even read the book (The Moth Presents All These Wonders: True Stories About Facing the Unknown).

Every May, Seattle Arts and Lectures hosts The Moth live! I’m so excited to be attending this event this year – they’re hosting it live and online on May 18th. You can get your tickets here!

Hope to see you there!!

Jen

I review events for #SAL as part of the #SALSuperFanClub; in exchange for a free ticket, I offer my unbiased review.

[…] The annual The Moth event hosted by Seattle Arts and Lectures (SAL)! I’ve never been to The Moth but have been wanting to since 2018? 2019? Regardless, this was SAL’s first Moth event since the pandemic! I had a fabulous time; the storytellers were all so different, some stories were sad, some were uplifting, some were creative and just need to be shared – you can read more about The Moth in my post here.
